I certainly don't want to contradict Dr. Grindeland, but didn't we have a knowledge bowl team in '93? I vaguely remember a trip to Fargo or Moorhead to compete. Don't know why I was on the team, but I think someone thought I'd know something about those obscure poets (I didn't). Maybe that's why Mr. Aase encouraged the all boys teams shown.

Well, I won't believe it until I see photo of the "1st" knowledge bowl team you are referring to. This photo was taken I think in 93 when we were sophomores. Brooks headed up a more "senior" team that same year so that could be the one you were were on.
